At the recent HCEA 2011 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Live Marketing was a sponsor, exhibitor and had several conference program speakers.
Like many in tradeshow and event marketing, healthcare marketers have the usual challenges of not enough time and too many responsibilities. But they also face numerous legal and regulatory restrictions. At HCEA 2011, we decided to help them have a little fun, and at the same time, make a difference for a local charity.
With great turnout at Live Marketing’s booth and thanks to everyone who played a hand of Healthcare Hold ‘Em, we’ll be making a donation to St. Rose Dominican’s R.E.D. Rose Program for breast cancer.
Southern Nevada ranks among the highest in the nation for underinsured and uninsured individuals. St. Rose Dominican Hospitals works in partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to provide free clinical breast exams, mammograms, ultrasounds, surgical consultations and biopsies to women and men 49 and younger who lack adequate health care coverage or the financial means to obtain them.
We always love going to Vegas for an event, especially when we get to see current clients, catch up with industry peers, and meet new colleagues. But HCEA 2011 was extra special because we were also able to donate to a charity that helps so many others.
Thanks again to everyone participated!
