			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>At the recent <a href="http://www.hcea.org" target="_blank">HCEA</a> 2011 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Live Marketing was a  sponsor, exhibitor and had several conference program speakers.</p>
<p>Like many in tradeshow and event marketing, healthcare marketers have the usual challenges  of not enough time and too many responsibilities. But they also face  numerous legal and regulatory restrictions. At HCEA 2011, we decided to help them have  a little fun, and at the same time, make a difference for a local  charity.</p>
<p>With great turnout at Live Marketing&#8217;s booth and thanks to everyone who played a hand of Healthcare Hold ‘Em, we’ll be making a donation to <a href="http://www.strosehospitals.org/Health_Information/Community_Programs/183399" target="_blank">St. Rose Dominican’s R.E.D. Rose Program</a> for breast cancer.</p>
<p>Southern Nevada ranks among the highest in the nation for  underinsured and uninsured individuals. St. Rose Dominican Hospitals  works in partnership with <a href="http://ww5.komen.org/" target="_blank">Susan G. Komen for the Cure</a> to provide free clinical breast exams, mammograms, ultrasounds,  surgical consultations and biopsies to women and men 49 and younger who  lack adequate health care coverage or the financial means to obtain  them.</p>
<p>We always love going to Vegas for an event, especially when we get to  see current clients, catch up with industry peers, and meet new  colleagues. But HCEA 2011 was extra special because we were also able to  donate to a charity that helps so many others.</p>

<p>Live Marketing, an integrated engagement marketing agency expert in tradeshows, events, online programs and virtual events, earned two 2011 Tower Awards—a Gold and a Silver—from the Chicago Chapter of the Business Marketing Association (BMA). Live Marketing earned the Gold Award for an experiential marketing program it created and implemented for Intel in conjunction with The Women’s Conference<sup>®</sup> 2010. The Silver Award recognized a custom social media portal microsite Live Marketing designed and produced for the 2010 National BMA Conference.</p>
<p>The Intel experience at The Women’s Conference<sup>®</sup> 2010 communicated how Intel empowers women and girls to reach their full potential through a diverse range of training and programs. This multi-faceted program included fireside chats with dynamic, successful women who shared insights into achieving one’s full potential—and an invitation to contribute in a group collaborative art project. For each art project participant, Intel made an honorary donation to Orphans Overseas, an organization that supports children and families worldwide. Over 1,200 women took part during the two-day event and $5,000 was donated to the charity.</p>
<p>For BMA’s National Conference, Live Marketing designed a multi-tier social media aggregator microsite that integrated with and enhanced the event experience. The solution, envisioned as a dashboard, provided attendees and non-attendees with single location access to real-time live tweets with the conference hashtag; conference videos; a Flickr photo gallery; conference blog posts; LinkedIn group and subgroups; and a link to the event agenda. Conference general sessions also streamed live to the site extended content to non-attendees in 31 countries.</p>
<p>The annual Tower Awards competition sponsored by the Chicago Chapter of BMA recognizes exceptional business-to-business marketing campaigns. Winners were announced at an awards ceremony and gala held May 11 in Chicago at the Hotel Sax.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Live Marketing, a full-service marketing agency expert in tradeshows, events, online programs and virtual events, has earned a 2010 award from <em>Event Design magazine</em> for the Engage Live! microsite created for the 2010 National BMA (Business Marketing Association) Conference. The aggregator dashboard microsite, which enabled attendees to seamlessly integrate social media into their conference experience, earned a bronze award in the “Best Online/Virtual Element/Micro-site” category.</p>
<p>The challenge was to apply social media in a way that would be new to attendees. “BMA members are knowledgeable about social media, so to give them value, we have to take things one or two steps beyond the customary and deliver new ideas and applications that they haven’t seen yet,” says BMA Chairman Gary Slack, who is also Chairman and Chief Experience Officer of Slack Barshinger.</p>
<p>The aggregator microsite combined the conference branding with best-practices web design in a dashboard-like interface. Multiple social media platforms were accessible from a single landing page: real-time live tweets; a LinkedIn group and subgroups to join; related conference videos; a Flickr photo gallery; and conference blog posts. Plus, when the conference was going on, non-attendees could view live streaming video of the general sessions. “The idea was to bring everything together, make it easy for people to tune in, catch up and connect,” says Bryan Pray, Senior Producer of Online Programs for Live Marketing.</p>
<p>More than 500 people, including both conference attendees and those experiencing the conference virtually, created and posted content across the social media channels. In addition, the microsite virtually extended the conference to over 900 additional people (one and a half times the in-person attendance) from 31 countries.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Live Marketing, a full-service marketing agency expert in tradeshows, events, online programs and virtual events, has earned the 2010 Business Marketing Association B2 Award for Event Marketing for the dynamic presentations it created for helicopter manufacturer Sikorsky at HELI-EXPO 2009. This was one of just ten overall “best of the best” category winner awards given at the BMA Engage Conference, held June 2-4 in Chicago. (Other “best of the best” group category winners included Advertising, Direct Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications and Social Media &amp; PR.) In addition, the Sikorsky program took top honors in the Live Trade Show Presentation or Demo Division and in the Face-to-Face Marketing Category.</p>
<p>The winning program illustrated Sikorsky’s customer-centric approach to business and industry leadership through twelve different main stage presentation “events.” Each event commenced with a dramatic introduction: As attendees watched, a presentation stage rolled out from under one of the helicopter platforms and a 16’ x 9’ double-sided LED screen descended from the ceiling. In addition to a professional presenter and guest speakers, events leveraged rich HD media including sensational video of real helicopter rescues by Sikorsky customers. One popular event, repeated several times, featured industry icon Sergei Sikorsky (son of Sikorsky’s founder Igor Sikorsky). Another event provided highly anticipated updates on Sikorsky’s revolutionary technology and included exclusive video of new aircraft test flights.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Live Marketing developed and implemented twelve dynamic mainstage presentations to earn client Sikorsky a Gold Tower Award for “Experiential Marketing.” The award, given by the Chicago chapter of the Business Marketing Association, recognizes the effectiveness of Sikorsky’s marketing program at <em>HELI-EXPO 2009</em>, the world’s largest tradeshow dedicated to the helicopter community. This marks the tenth Tower Award Live Marketing has helped its clients earn in the last decade.</p>
<p>Hosted by a professional presenter, Live Marketing used the twelve presentation events to engage attendees and deliver key Sikorsky messaging. Dramatic music signaled the start of each presentation, and as attendees watched, a presentation stage rolled out from under a helicopter platform and a 16&#8242; x 9’ double-sided LED screen descended from the ceiling. Nearly 1,500 guests participated in the mainstage events, with attendees frequently overflowing into the aisles. The highly visible experience was combined with a pull-through strategy that collected attendee data and drove attendees to experience all areas within the exhibit.</p>
<p>“The BMA Tower Awards recognize excellence in over 30 marketing categories, and to have the judges recognize the Sikorsky program as the best experiential marketing program is truly an honor,” says Elaine Cohen, President of Live Marketing. “It’s gratifying our work is being recognized, but the real achievement is helping our clients build their brands and increase results from their event programs.”</p>
